COVID TRAVEL IN ITALY JAN 2022
Travel and COCID in Italy is greatly restricted still with small windows of hope that things will open to international visitors in the coming months. However, as is par for Italy rules and enforcement of restrictions are confusing and subjectivity envorced. As I have tried to explain many times Italy may be a identity but by no means does it operate as a whole. Each region and many times individual provinces and larger cities create their own sub rules or interpretation of decrees issued by Roma. A good example is currently developed in the Veneto. The Veneto region has been pushing for automy for a years now and within the Veneto the Belluno province has wanted to aline itself with Tyrol region of Austria. The Bellune province covers a large area of the Dolomites and is very dependant on tourism.
